OUR BEGINNING

HOW CEDAR STREET STARTED

Cedar Street Candle Co. began in Tacoma in 2018 with a simple idea: create beautifully fragranced candles we genuinely enjoyed burning in our own home.

What started with small batches shared with family and friends gradually grew through word of mouth, repeat customers, and a love of creating fragrances that make a space feel more inviting.

Today, Cedar Street has grown beyond candles to include room and linen sprays, seasonal collections, and fragrances inspired by the forests, coastlines, changing seasons, and everyday moments of the Pacific Northwest.

We still approach every fragrance with the same question: would we want this in our own home?
